Landon drank another two shots and by now he was far gone. "He is perfect but he's not here, " Landon said. "Straight friends?" Landon said his eyes going wide. "I have those??" Landon asked. Then he remembered he had one he talked to a little less than Gen. "Ohh, Brice. He's a straight guy. He's pretty hot," Landon said with a giggle.

Gen tried to stand up but ended up falling into Landon. "You should set us up, maaaaan," she said, giggling as she tried to stand back up (and failed miserably). "My dad is going to kill me if he sees me like this." She didn't actually sound worried, but she should have been. Last time she came home drunk, all hell broke loose in her house.
"So, tell me about Mr. Perfect," she said. "Does he live around here?" Gen always liked interrogating Landon's boyfriends just to make sure they were okay for him. And if she didn't like them, they didn't date. But it went both ways, so it wasn't a big deal.

Landon shook his head. "Well he lives in new Yorkkk but he doesn't go to our school," Landon said. He began to daydream about Archie. They already video chatted constantly. He loved the he talked and it was a nice break from the upper class. Most people who dated him used him but not Archie. He liked him for him and not because he was a model.

Gen raised an eyebrow at him. "He lives in the upper east side and he doesn't go to our school?" she asked skeptically. Gen didn't even consider the idea that his new beau wasn't a preppy rich kid. It wasn't that she had anything against that (well, maybe a little), but Landon had never dated anyone any different. He definitely had a type, and they were all jerks.

"He doesn't live in the upper east side," Landon said. He didn't know how Gen wpuld react to that but he was too drunk to care. He rubbed his eyes, "we should goooo it's boring here," Landon said. Though he was sure Gen wouldn't want to leave.

Gen nodded. "Okay," she said. She was too drunk to care about the fact that Landon's boyfriend wasn't from the upper east side. And there were no guys that were even remotely interested in her in the place, so she didn't mind leaving. "But I'm crashing at your place tonight." It wasn't unusual for Landon and Gen to get wasted and then stay at Landon's. His parents didn't care as much about alcohol and drugs as Gen's did. And they wouldn't rat her out unless they thought she was in serious danger.
